Valentines day often brings up mixed emotions but irrefutably, it's roots are in a juicy bit of history, in a Bacchanalia sort of way.

From Feb. 13 to 15, the Romans celebrated the feast of Lupercalia, in a well, very Roman way! Noel Lenski, a historian at the University of Colorado at Boulder says The Roman romantics "were drunk. They were naked" and they expressed their affection by engaging in soft S & M by whipping the object of their affection with the pelts of a dog and a goat -  the fascinating history of this holiday continues and you can read more about it here

Albeit what we are offering is tame in comparison, we do think it is a wonderful way to show your affection, and let another know they mean something to you outside of the ordinary

......

I am certain of nothing but the holiness of the heart's affections and the truth of imagination - what the imagination seizes as beauty must be truth - whether it existed before or not. - John Keats

Heart Chakra Mister

And if you would like to completely immerse in the energy of Lupercalia try our vibrational essence Feast of Lupercalia . Add a few drops to your tongue before you kiss your beloved, rapturous mixed with champagne, sumptuous in a bubble bath or hot tub, add 1 drop to what you are cooking to invoke this energy
