Happy Holidays!

If you want to celebrate in a unique way this year you might consider Jólabókaflóð (pronounced yo-la-bok-a-flot) 'Christmas Book Flood'. This celebration is Icelandic in origination and entails gifting books on Christmas Eve then family and friends spend the night reading together. Can you imagine anything more cozy?

hot chocolate, a roaring fire, snuggled under a quilt your grandmother made mmmmm

According to Jordan G. Teicher of NPR:

"The 'Book Flood' tradition begins with a publisher's catalog in every mailbox." And might I suggest my favorite publisher Inner Traditions/Bear & Co.  they always have something to titillated your mind and soul. It is not to late to order on-line this year but I recommend signing up for their catalog so you can browse all year in joyous preparation for next year!

In the spirit of the holiday we are offering 25% off the book Essential Oils in Spiritual Practice by Candice Covington. If you enjoy Eastern philosophy with a twist of Jungian thought and a peppering of quantum physics this might be for you. You can read more here   if you order by the 17th it will arrive in time for gifting on Christmas Eve. To invite this book into your home follow this link Give the gift of the sacred
