Using Essential Oil to invoke Green Tara - Compassionate Action

Posted by Candice Covington on

So much is going on in the world right now that calls for compassion, support, and healing. From horrifying natural disasters to the emotional and political divide that is occurring. Green Tara's role in the Buddhist pantheon is that of compassionate action that acts in the immediate. We have seen heroic examples of 'average' individuals that have worked miracles here on earth. If this is your tendency (or desire) to behave in this manner the essential oil  Kaffir Lime Leaf can aid and support you in your endeavors (since Kaffir Lime Leaf vibrates to her archetype)

Normally $22. Now $20

Carl Jung the godfather of archetypal psychology said, "archetypes are like riverbeds which dry up when the water deserts them, but which it can find again at any time. An archetype is like an old watercourse along which the water of life has flowed for centuries, digging a deep channel for itself. The longer it has flowed in this channel the more likely it is that sooner or later the water will return to its old bed.

To encourage the 'water' to return to this 'riverbed', simply dilute 12 drops of Kaffir Lime Leaf essential oil in 1 dram of avocado oil. Then apply to your heart chakra* (4th), and repeat Green Tara's invocation:

"Tara, imbue me with the wisdom and strength to be like you, ‘quick like lightning’ in recognizing and aiding others in need, be it hunger of spirit and soul or need on the physical level. Allow me to see the most skillful and swift means of balancing any imbalance. Help me move forward until every one of my brothers’ and sisters’ needs are met with the same standards I require for my Self, be it the need for education, freedom of thought and expression, ample recourses, clean, healthy environments, or safe, positive surroundings that encourage growth. Bless me with the divine sensitivity not to push my understanding of good, but to ask what each individual requires to flourish and honor that as I meet and interact with each new energy."

As you finish this practice allow a moment for you to reflect as your being is filled with the energy of Green Tara and allow her to support you in your good works So Hum

* Green Tara IS the enlightened Air element and the element Air produces the heart chakra
